History : 1976: Helen Raxevsky and George Mourtzouchos establish the trading company as Helen's Club S. A. From the outset the focus is on exports to countries such as France, Germany, Austria, Holland,Spain and Sweden. The company also exports to the USA and Canada. 1982: Helen Raxevsky and her sister explore retail sales by opening 2 stores in Athens. 1982: The company makes the strategic decision of expanding to retail sales by opening 2 stores in the centre of Athens, one in Kolonaki and one on Patission str. 1983-1990: The company expands across Athens by opening many stores. 1990-1999: Raxevsky continues to expand with stores throughout Greece some of which through the franchising program. 1999: The company begins to further expand it’s businesses outside Greece with the opening of a store in Sofia, Bulgaria; Germany, Romania and Cyprus follow. 2004: A new promotional strategy is adopted by the company, ‘Raxevsky Woman’: Raxevsky connects its brand name and the style of its clothes with a well known celebrity whose personality and appearance match the Raxevsky philosophy. The photo shoot of each new season takes place in foreign countries with beautiful scenery, natural beauty and cultural elements that match and can be adopted by the Raxevsky collection. 2006: An innovative cooperation with the new ’Raxevsky Woman’ - Zeta Makripoulia - begins. At the same time the company refreshes and rejuvenates its image. The ‘Raxevsky Woman' is modern, with a strong personality and independent. She values high quality but at a reasonable price. She wants to be well-dressed at all occasions. Raxevsky has a wide variety of clothes for any time of the day. The company’s priority is women and their needs. For Raxevsky Woman leads, fashion follows. 2011: Today there are 60 Raxevsky stores in Greece of which 19 are franchise outlets and 8 Raxevsky stores abroad, in Sofia, Nicosia, Limassol, Bucharest and Cairo.
